Standard Makceral Wogheads work really well in shallower waters but there has been a need for some time to develop a much heavier Woghead so that mackerel feeding in 20 to 30 metres can be effectively targeted. The NEW BRANSFORDS DOWN 'n DIRTY MACKERAL WOGHEAD weighs in at 180 gms. That’s almost 6 ounces on the old scale and there’s no doubt this baby will hit feeding fish right on their nose! Made from machined turned brass, then chrome plaited these new wogs will soon establish themselves as a 'must have' for most bluewater fishos. Now available in a range of colour options!

Rig the DnD using a garfish, just the same as the tradtional lighter wogheads. We troll them 'DIRECT' off the rod tip and have found we get a much better hook up that when using the outriggers. When you see deep feeding mackos gorging themselves on bait simply slow down and let the new Dnd’s hit the target. When in the zone slowly open up speed  to tempt a strike. On occasions we have been trolling 4 rods and have hooked up 4 mackeral. How good is that!!!

If you troll past a mid water shoal of baitfish with mackeral hanging off them do a loop and a 180 degree turn. The inner DnD’s will sink like a stone and attract strikes as you pass that same bait shoal. They are so versatile and made to last.
